Résumé

A demanda por justiça é um princípio de longa data da Sección 22 do Sindicato Nacional dos/as Trabalhadores/as da Educação, que lidera, em Oaxaca, um movimento de docentes desde a década de 1970 e que evoluiu para atender as mudanças nas circunstâncias sociais, políticas e econômicas. Vários/as pesquisadores/as em todo o mundo têm cada vez mais associado noções de justiça à educação, explorando expressões como educação para a justiça social, ensino orientado para a justiça, educação orientada para a justiça e ensino para a justiça social em diversos contextos, mapeando as maneiras pelas quais educadores/as integram esses conceitos nas salas de aula e nas escolas. No entanto, falta nessa pesquisa uma análise das maneiras que permitam a docentes praticar o ensino orientado para a justiça também fora da sala de aula, ao participarem de movimentos e lutas. Com base em dados etnográficos coletados ao longo de um período de cinco anos e em entrevistas com 40 docentes, formadores/as de docentes, dirigentes sindicais e estagiários/as docentes, traçarei quatro orientações de justiça por meio das quais os/as docentes de Oaxaca exigem justiça. Os/As educadores/as da Sección 22 realizam um ensino orientado para a justiça de acordo com princípios econômicos, políticos, culturais e humanísticos, manifestando uma crença amplamente difundida em Oaxaca de que “o/a docente ao lutar também está ensinando”. Este estudo contribui para as pesquisas sobre como docentes implementam pedagogias e práticas orientadas para a justiça em todo o mundo, não apenas na sala de aula, mas também no domínio público como ativistas, agentes de movimentos sociais e membros de sindicatos.
