This article aims to problematize and discuss the public-private relationship within the State Military Police Colleges of Goiás (CEPMG) and the role of the Association of Parents, Teachers, and Staff (APMF) in this model, as an organization that mediates the process of privatizing public schools in Goiás. The research, which is documentary in nature and exploratory, critical, and interpretive in approach, utilized a corpus composed of legislation that implemented and organized these schools. Additionally, 31 Technical Cooperation Agreements between the State Department of Education and the Department of Public Safety were analyzed. From the analysis of the APMF's role and the expansion of enrollment, it was possible to observe how voluntary contributions collected by the APMF represent a significant resource differential in these schools. In this model, the APMF acts as a mediator in the privatization process of public education, serving as a space that conceals privatization within these schools.
