O envolvimento dos sindicatos docentes na política educacional

Resumen

Este artigo trata da influência dos sindicatos docentes iranianos nas reformas das políticas educacionais, com foco na evolução desses sindicatos nas últimas duas décadas. Nossa principal constatação é a de uma mudança no discurso e no modelo mental dos sindicatos docentes iranianos, com ênfase crescente nas mudanças das políticas educativas voltadas para qualidade e equidade. No entanto, os sindicatos ainda não tiveram sucesso na defesa de reformas educacionais, e isto se deve ao contexto político e social variável do país, aos recursos limitados e à falta de acesso a redes internacionais. Nosso estudo revelou fatores-chave que contribuíram para a mudança de atitude dos/das professores/as iranianos/as, que passaram de um sindicalismo voltado apenas ao salário e às condições de trabalho para um sindicalismo pela justiça social. Entre esses fatores estão criação de sindicatos mais includentes, descentralização e democratização das estruturas sindicais, uso das redes sociais para ampliar seu alcance e formação de coalizões com grupos pela justiça social. Apesar dos desafios, nossas conclusões sugerem que os sindicatos docentes podem desempenhar um papel crucial na defesa de reformas na educação em países que enfrentam obstáculos significativos.
